I was told that it wasn't safe in the first and last trimester. So I only dyed my hair during the second, when I got married I have read since that there is no evidence to prove it harmful to the baby but I would be interested to know if thats true or not. I even used childrens toothpaste because my ultrasound tech. said that anything with "not suitable for children under 6" was harmful during pregnancy.

Each to their own, you know what its like with your first child, absolutely paranoid about everything. I am sure if I was told that if I had to scratch my nose with my left hand instead of my right I would have LOL!
