LSK - pmsl - yeah. Worked right through to 36 weeks. Chef, so dont really get much a choice on hours breaks etc ...from 9 am to midnight everyday, saturdays and fridays was later.
My Chef was pretty good though, often got off early or a hour late start or something. But I lived and hour and half from work, so driving in to perth in peak hour traffic - yuck!
I was buggered but I actually loved it. Still being useful and kept me active.
oh my god.
i feel terrible now.
I had to throw my job in at 11 weeks, i had a bad back and the ***** of a boss at woolies was making me do all the heaviest of lifting, i got to a point where i was feeling so sick and scared to go into work, cause everyone there was just being so tough on me.
I ended up asking for light duties and had a certificate from my doc, but she continued to give me continuos bending jobs, and my back and neck were stuffed.
lol in regards to working while your pregnant i worked at a fish n chip shop while i was pregnant and had around 3 weeks off the whole preg partly because i went in2 prem labour at 32 weeks n mum wouldnt let me move but i got sick of that so i went back and then me mum went on a honeymoon and told me not to work for that so i didnt have me son while she was gone and then i was working when i was in labour wrapping fish n chips thru contractions!! because i had so many false starts i wasnt goin to stop doin "NORMAL" things other wise it woulda stopped!!! and yes i would eat a block of chocolate a day too!!
I've been craving salt and vinegar chips, just can't get enough. Besides that I eat and eat and eats (seems to help the sickness, but as soon as I stop eating I feel sick again) so I think you could call that somewhat of a craving
