thread: Don't like eating veggies, is drinking vegtable juice V8 daily enough?

    Maybe cut em up thinly and eat with your favourite dip. (I know that dip's not that healthy but you can get more healthy ones these days)

    I have been drinking some V8, but I have noticed that it has lots of Vitamin A - which I have heard is 'bad' in pregnancy. It is so hard to get all your veggie intake.

    The dip and veggie thing sounds yum. Salsa, is low/no fat. You could dip in avocado/ guacamole (preferably homemade) if you can stomach it. Avocado has lots of goodies in it

    I have been drinking some V8, but I have noticed that it has lots of Vitamin A - which I have heard is 'bad' in pregnancy. It is so hard to get all your veggie intake.
    I think there is a difference between some types of vitamin A. I believe its the animal derived vitamin A that you need to be cautious about, such as in liver - its called retinol or retinyl ester. But I have heard that the vegetable based vitamin A (b-carotene) is completely fine....
