I have been posting in a few other threads but felt it easier on myself just to post it here, so those who I have been talking too will get this message.

I was due to have an ultrasound last Friday (7w) to make sure I didn't have ectopic (have had a previous one). I didn't make it until Friday. Started to bleed/pain on Wednesday, was put in hospital on Wednesday afternoon and was urgently operated on, on Thursday. I lost my tube, but kept my life.

I may have some difficulties falling pregnant again due to tube and my age. A bit of a shock for someone who has been able to fall pregnant just thinking about it. I already have 2 children to my ex husband, by my new husband doesn't have any children. My new husband and I are having to come to terms that he may never have children unless we try IVF, which we can't afford. So for now it is fingers crossed my other tube is OK and will deliver the goods. Only time will tell.

My operation was a long one, with a few complications so I had to stay in for a few nights. The hardest thing is that I hadn't told anyone I was pregnant but my parents so I have had to tell some lies to cover up the urgent operation and put on a brave face. My stomach is so swollen from the operation that I look pregnant and am dreading anyone asking me. I think I will just hide away for a while.
