My GP did no tests initially. As soon as I got a BFP I called him and asked him what I should do with regrds to booking in @ hospital and whether or not I needed a blood test. HE said the positive HPT was enough and to just call the hospital, and told me about taking folate and a few other things. I've only been to my GP to get my bloods done at about 8 or 9 wks.
