At my first appt I was asked about my medical history and that of my partner including our families. He discussed a couple of things from the results of the bloods, particularly the fact that I have a negative blood group which can cause problems later on in the pregnancy. He shared with me the results of the tests too but all was good!
He discussed the 12 week scan and the 19 week scan, took my blood pressure and had a feel of my abdomen. He also did an ultrasound of my bub (first u/s - very exciting) and showed us various bits on the screen including the healthy heartbeat.
He gave me the chance to ask any questions and then sent me for my blood test for the 12 week scan and a urine test to make sure I didn't have any UTIs which need to be dealt with early.
Good luck! Treat it as a 'meet and greet' with your ob as there isn't much happening this early on!
