    My beta levels, hopefully ok?

    Hi all,

Well I had my first beta level done at 16dpo and it was 297, then the second one done at 20dpo and it was 2672, and now the last to date at 27dpo is 16520. I thought the last level was a tad low, and shouldve almost been double that.

Sorry a bit worried due to my terrible track record.......

    What do you think??

Hi Lindy, I'm not sure exactly what the numbers should be (other than over 2 means you are pregnant), but when I first got my levels checked they were really low, but it was just because I was so early in pregnancy. This probably isn't helping, sorry. I would imagine though that as long as the level is going up it is all, it's only if the level stops going up or it starts to go down. I hope someone else can help.

    Thanks for your reply Rachel.

I have been doing a bit of research and found out that after the 6000mIU that the doubling time is longer than 48 hours, so that takes my mind off it quite a bit lol.

I was just so worried when I saw that my last result didnt double in the allotted time, but now I feel more at ease.

Hi go and have a look at betabase, you can check your levels there also after you see a HB at your first scan you can post your results, which will be helpful to someone else. Like you say the doubling time increases as the levels rise, I did the smae thing and had a freak out because it had slowed heaps, but still going strong 3 weeks later. They look good to me. Heaps of luck and sticky vibes.

Hi there, Lindy. Congratulations Your hCG levels are much the same as mine - and I saw my bub with a heartbeat and moving on Tuesday when I had a scan in Wagga. Sending you some to help you over the next few weeks. I've just been a ball of anxiety as well and will continue to be for the rest of this pregnancy, I'm sure
