Your advice, experiences have made her (and me) feel SOOOOO much better!

She had given up trying for a bubs after an early mc 18 months ago. So this whole being pregnant thing has thrown her for a loop!

She was adamant that she could not deal with a DS baby, however, after our moron of a Dr, and my reading word for word yr ladies replies, she has said *I will deal with whatever happens*.

She isn't going to get an amnio, and is going to just deal with the Midwives at Birralee. Seriously, this Dr is a moron! She said *I will write you out a referral letter, come pick it up from the clinic later* ... I mean SERIOUSLY? It's as if she has ice running through her veins! Mind you, this is after last Thursday, when my sis called up for blood results and the receptionist said *Oh the Dr has a msg here that you need to see her ASAP, can you come in now*...so I went with my sister only to have the Dr start giving out the Ultrasound results that she had ALREADY given at previous appt! I lost it, said *we are here for the blood results, yr receptionist told us we had to get here asap as you needed to discuss them*...she looked at us blankly and says, *oh those results won't be back for at least another week* WTF!!!!|????

Seriously, so need to find a new Dr!
