Homeopathic Nausea relief. is it safe?

I am now 13 weeks, and the nausea seems to be getting worse! I have tried ginger, dried biscuits in bed, smelling half a lemon! I'm getting desperate! lol!
i went to my local health food shop and the homepath there sold me a remedy. He assured me it was safe to take during pregnancy. After having 2 m/c's i am very cautious.
The active ingredients are cocculus 6c, Ipecacuanha 6c, Nux vomica 6c? Has anyone taken anything like this before? Any advice?
On top of that i have had constant diarrhea since i was pregnant!! Any ideas about that? I am keeping my fluids up, i think the iron supplement i have to take makes it worse.
Thanks in advance for your advice!

    Hello,

I was given a homopathic tablet last pg, then went on to miscarry, I vowed this time I wouldnt take anything without full understanding of it.

I had 1 chemist tell me 1 tablet was ok, then later found out it was not safe afterall.

You can get tablets for morning sickness such as moxolin and also anti nausea drugs for sea sickness. Ask your GP.

As for the iron tablets, they usually cause constipation not diarrhea.

Hope it all settles down for you.

Thanks delicate dove, think i'll just deal with the vomit! It has to get better soon. surely?!
    Are you still sick?
Hearing you say that has about made up my mind! Just one little doubt is enough for me to throw it out! Better to be safe than sorry hey? So thanks for the info.
I know the iron is supposed to cause constipation, but i am certainly not having that problem, interestingly enough, iron has the same effect on my mum, wierd huh?
I have just run out of blackmores multi v's and have bought some elevit, i thought maybe that might help both my "issues"!!!

I have been taking homeopathics for nausea too. First I tried Cocculus but it didn't work for me, now I am taking Sepia and Comb C (for acidity). I checked with the my midwife and Homeopathic Assoc and was told they are safe to take the entire time if needed.

I still vomit in the morning but they do take the edge off. I am also wearing seabands.

If I ever taste ginger again it will be too soon!

Elevit, is a really good multi vitamin, if u compare elevit and blackmores you will see elevit has much more levels in it.

I was warned elevit can make constipation and occasional nausea worse.

but I must say never had this.

The thing I find works best is taking 50mg of B6 but it took about a week to get into my system.

I am still stick but it has eased off, certain smells, dehydration and lack of sleep send me right back to full on vomiting so I have to be careful.

    goodluck
