I only had symptoms for a few days after I found out I was pregnant (around 4 weeks) - growing boobs and a bit of nausea. All this suddenly disappeared and I was really concerned. The nausea completely disappeared and my boobs went down in size a bit. I had my 12 week scan about 2 weeks ago where I was convinced I would get bad news, but all good! Turns out I am just lucky! Hard to believe though!

Thanks very much for your reassuring replies. I never imagined I was such an anxious person until I got pregnant! I am going to chill out, relax and my body will work it all out. Scan due mid October, I will wait for that and stop being so silly! I feel like this is going to be the longest pregnancy in history!

You're not being silly at all! I went from being a completely laid back rational human being to stressing so much that I could hardly talk about it.

All will be fine - your scan will show that

Unfortunately, this happened to me about week 9 and the scan at week 10 showed no heartbeat - so it was a mmc

However, there are so many ladies who's symptoms disappeared and they were fine. I was asking the same questions. If you're truly concerned, go to the doctor. Alternatively, just wait until your scheduled scan. You may be fine, you may get different symptoms. Unfortunately (and this is harsh) - there's nothing you could do at this stage to prevent a mc, so may be better just to have faith that things are ok until proven otherwise.

    Being anxious is normal
