    Oh. My. God.

    My sister is pregnant.

I want to be happy for her..... But I can't. She is due the same time as me.

So if all is well - she steals my thunder.....

If all is not well - she has a baby at the time mine is due..... How will I ever look at the baby without thinking of mine!!!

Cant think that far ahead.... But this is my worst nightmare.....

And I feel like the most horrible terrible cow for being so upset about it.

    Myturn Massive hugs

You will face this and get through it with the strength and dignity you have used to get through this journey so far. It won't be easy but you can do it. In the meantime we will all be here, holding you up when you need us.

    Take care x

Massive massive hugs. That's awful, I've been there. I was trying for a baby (and had lost 2 already) when I fell pg with my daughter. When I was 4-5w my mum found out she was 5-6 weeks. I ended up losing my girl at 12w- she didn't, and went on to have a girl as well. And when I was pg with my second mc she found out she was pg 2 weeks after and had an abortion.
It's so hard- the best advice I have is take care of yourself right now Hun.
Lots of love and comfort xxx

    LTTTCer needing some reassurance....

My sister & my two best friends are all currently pregnant with apparently healthy, 'surprise' babies. The three people who I would usually turn to for comfort during this time, I find myself distancing myself instead because it is just too much for me right now. So I couldn't see this and not post because I can absolutely appreciate how you are feeling.
I wish with all my heart that she is a mere thunder stealer & that in but a few weeks you will be comparing funny preggo anecdotes. Big love to you xx

Oh babe I feel for you and completely understand what you are feeling. I agree completely with what n2l wrote you are a strong woman and matter what happens we are here for you.
Just remember even though it feels like your thunder has been stolen its you and your hubby that are important and you both get to share everything together and that's the most important part xoxo

Oh sweetie every pregnancy announcement had me feeling like the universe was out to get me. At this time I can only imagine how much worse it feels for you. You will get through this and fingers crossed that beautiful blob you have is healthy and arrives just ahead of your sisters xx

I'm sorry myturn, its a kick in the guts. It happened to me too, DH and I nearly passed out when we were told in front of all the family. I took it to mean I would definately m/c ( so did dh he admitted later) and that didn't happen obviously, but its so difficult.
I really hope everything turns out beautifully for you and your sister. Hang in there, its an awful time, and so unfair you haveto go through this stress.

Sweet lady, I'm so sorry that another hurdle has been placed in front of you. Right now you are in such a cruel place. The not knowing either way (aka limbo) must be horrible. I am hoping so much that the best case scenario comes from all this and like me your little one will have an instant play mate in a cousin born within weeks of them. Wish there was some wisdom I could provide. I think N2L put it nicely though. Giant hugs xxx

you're not a 'horrible cow' for feeling the way you do - far from it. you just want a baby and to be a mum, and the ltttc road has been (and continues to be) hard for you. totally understandable that you are feeling upset at your sisters announcement. i hope that your scan goes well this week, i have been stalking you - as im sure all the other ltttc ladies have too, crossing fingers for good news. xx

I would and have felt exactly the same myturn, you are not alone with that. Pretending to feel something that you don't makes you feel so much worse too.
I am sorry this is such bad timing, but hopefully everything will turn out fine and you can both have a happy and healthy pregnancy together. Try to think of the positives like playdates after they are born

Myturn - my heart is breaking for you. I would have felt the same way! How could you not! This is such a worrying time for you and you want to be happy for her, but her news couldn't have come at a worse time

I really really hope things work out for you! You are so very deserving of a healthy little one!

thanks lovely ladies... I am trying so hard just to plod along and get through to friday.... I have this underlying low level of hysteria that is getting me through every day, and I am keeping busy! Tonight is the first night I have not had anything 'to do' since the weekend - visitors monday..... (although my poor mother had me hysterical all night pretty much, as that was when she decided to tell me about my sister - and it was her birthday... poor thing!) went out to some friends last night - which was really nice actually! Should definitely do that more often! my brother and SIL is coming over tomorrow as well, which will be good, and then... then, it's D Day... then I will know more....

trying not to go into the panic that brings just thinking about it....

I cannot explain how important you all are to me, and how I would not have survived without all this support...
    thankyou.
