Hi all,
I have just been wondering if anyone else has experienced the metallic taste in their mouths?? I have been recently (i think thats what it is) the only way to describe it is it makes me feel lethargic, and would like to know how long its lasted for and if there are any magical remedies for it??
The only thing i find that works is eating but once i finish it comes back!!! arggh!!!!
Would love to know your thoughts...

First timer,
Is your tongue a little white? if so you can try & take a yakult. I seem to get that taste I think from all the stomach acids & a few days on the light yakult takes that all away... Of course it might be a completely different reason
funny you mention this. I didn't have it last time, but man this time.....it's got something to do with your body telling you it needs a certain mineral I think....please don't ask which one though....
something rings a bell about iron defficiency and metalic taste.. though check it out.

I had this in my first trimester and I think it was because my gums got soft, just make sure you're taking your vitamins and if you're concerned, mention it to your doc on your next appointment.
its totally fine to take vitamins .. infact its reccomended . ask your chemist about them there is heaps of pregnancy vitamins out there ....
they have all the goodness a pg woman needs for those 9 months and beyond for breast feeding ...
