    Oh hun, I hope this is as bad as it gets for you this pg LOL. It's so awful. I used mylanta rolltabs and had several packets all over the place to combat it as soon as I could feel it starting.

    Thanks for your feedback. Mylanta dose have aluminium so I will contact my Dr too.
    I am eating very small bland meals & that seems to help. But the idea of food is uck.
    Milk is good so am sipping that.
    Trillian I hope it doesn't hang around but my sisters both had it bad the whole way through their pgs....

    I found the Gaviscon Dual Action liquid quite good, it's in a pink bottle.

    Last time I had chewable quick eze and I found it effective. Hope you find something that works for you, mate.

    This thread is soo soo handy I have the worst indigestion!! I am sucking on mints and I find Milk makes it worse and I have Gaviscon liquid and mylanta tablets but too scared to use them but might try the fruit tingles aswell ... I thought this early in preg wouldn't have any side effects but last 2 days indigestion and reflux in fill swing!!

    i found tums was a god send. i had bad heart burn from 10wks with DS, and on and off since about 8 with this bub. taking up to 8 tabs of tums a day is good - two after each meal plus two before bed = wonderful, i also found that with DS i had 'midnight' sickness and taking two before i threw up helped it to be less acidic on the way back up...

    I loved Gaviscon, the box was marked aluminium free. I still have a heap of it.
