It's good you had the test but you should be able to get the results a bit sooner than that. When I was having my levels monitored the results were taking 3 hours!
One result on its own won't tell you much but another one in 2-3 days will reassure you that things are okay. If the level has doubled things are looking good.
I would be pushing for a scan next week if I were you. Just to put your mind at rest and then you can get on with being pregnant!
