Leila, congrats on the pg! Don't worry about the niggles you've been feeling too much - your uterus has a lot of growing to do over the next 9 months and most of what you feel is just the uterus starting to stretch to accomodate the growing baby. You sound like you have a lot of strong symptoms, so take heart that that's a good sign that everything is OK.

As for your mums history - my mum has had several m'c but I have never had one at all touch wood - so that isn't an indicator of what will happen to you, unless there is a condition that she may of had to cause them kwim?

The first tri is always worrying as apart from m/s we don't have any real indication of how bubs is going in there, but it is completely normal to be a bit anxious about it.
