Does everyone get cravings? and when?

    Hi there.
Was having a chat with my fiance last night, and he mentioned it was unusual that I havent had cravings yet.

Im 12 weeks. And was wondering when during the pregnancy the cravings kick in?

I had a bit of a craving for lemons one night and I ate a whole lemon.
But that was just a one off thing, and it was at about 8 weeks.

When do the craving kick in? and can they hint as to whether its a boy or girl?

its not unusual. I never had them, or any other pg symptom than itchy bbs, no period and a growing tummy, with my first baby. No morning sickness etc, which feaked me out and had me worried.
This time around everything is different and Im pining for my hassle free pg from last time lol

There are lots of old wives tales about cravings hinting at boys and girls, generally sweeter things indicate girls and sour things boys.

Yeah I have had no morning sickness either, not even the feeling of vomiting!!

I was speaking to my mum and she said she never had it either, so maybe Im just taking after my mum.

My friends said i should consider myself lucky. lol

If I havent had morning sickness now, and im 12 weeks? Is there any chance i might get it later on in the pregnancy?

I never really felt like I had cravings -- at least, nothing stronger than normal. I always said I had cravings to my partner, though

Gotta milk the advantages of being pregnant!!

The only cravings I had was at about 18 weeks for 2 weeks ate a block of chocolate a day.
And then at 27-34 weeks I ate toasted ham cheese and tomato sandwiches literally for breakfast lunch and dinner while I was at work 16 hours a day lol

Aside form that though, nothing....no anchovy and peanut butter sandwiches here!

LSK - pmsl - yeah. Worked right through to 36 weeks. Chef, so dont really get much a choice on hours breaks etc ...from 9 am to midnight everyday, saturdays and fridays was later.
My Chef was pretty good though, often got off early or a hour late start or something. But I lived and hour and half from work, so driving in to perth in peak hour traffic - yuck!

I was buggered but I actually loved it. Still being useful and kept me active.

    oh my god.
    i feel terrible now.
I had to throw my job in at 11 weeks, i had a bad back and the ***** of a boss at woolies was making me do all the heaviest of lifting, i got to a point where i was feeling so sick and scared to go into work, cause everyone there was just being so tough on me.

I ended up asking for light duties and had a certificate from my doc, but she continued to give me continuos bending jobs, and my back and neck were stuffed.

I just quit, i had enough of woolies anyway.
