    Thanks

Thanks for the encouragment. I know that every pregnancy is different but cant help over analyzing every little thing ..... I have my 1st US booked for 15 Feb. How frequently would you recommend getting HCG levels tested? (My doctor's secretary says its uneccessary) however, seeing them rise reassures me everyhting is progressing well. Thanks again... xox

Unless you have a past history of certain things going wrong then serial BHCG is unneccessary. But like you said its reassurring to see it rising. After a certain gestation though it starts decreasing so only recommended in early pregnancy. I think it can start decreasing as early as 8weeks and this is normal doesn't indicate pregnancy loss is going to occur. It usually peaks at 8-10weeks and then starts declining.
As for the tickers you have to add them in your signature. Not good at expalining but I am sure someone else will.

I was so convinced that I was not pg after my 2WW due to lack of ... anything! and my first HCG was 1200! Then until about week 11, I was convinced I was going to MC because I had no symptoms still (except for excessive hunger)... Then I figured I was probably fine because nothing had fallen out.

You can usually click on people's tickers & it will take you to the site they are created on. Bellybelly has some lovely tickers - so check them out first.

    Zilch Symptoms Again ...Grrrrrr

Thanks for talking Loula, Emmy83 and Entreat!

All this is sooooooooooo strange. Went for a walk today to get mind off my abdomen and started to feel a little crampy and light headed... Then NOTHING! Not a damn bloody thing all afternoon / night…. I would rather feel ill for the entire 8 months than this rollercoaster of emotion. Just so I know… Is it possible that the embryo can die while still attached to the uterus and I wouldn’t know? Sorry for the doomsday scenarios… It all just feels too good to be true… Think I might go to my GP and ask for a HCG test? Need to know all is ok! xox

At 5 weeks you are only starting to develop the symptoms! It not nice to hope someone gets rotten morning sickness, but ... may you be nauseas ... a little bit, soon

I'm sure everything is fine. I didn't start to develop symptoms until the end of the 6th week. And the morning sickness began through week 7. Don't stress yourself out, it's not good for you or the baby. Do go and see your GP to get some reassurance.
