In search of morning sickness friendly foods

Does anyone have any suggestions on food I can eat that won't irritate my stomach? I. can't remember what i ate last time... Atm Im on bread & butter and lemonade with occasional sips of water, even jelly is not agreeing with me...

I had success with plain toast, plain pasta (angel hair was best), banana and apple juice

I found everything made me nauseous but dry ginger ale helped so I could keep eating.

I lived on two-minute noodles, crackers with cheese, Vegemite toast - anything salty.

Water with lemon helped too; and I took sour lemon lollies to meetings.

    Hope you feel better soon.

Bundaberg ginger beer (has real ginger)
    Toasted cheese sandwiches
    Ice cream
Fruit tingles (before you even try to get up in the morning) - this helped one of my friends a lot!

Toast with a small smear of butter & vegemite, sour plums, watermelon & apple puree are my best friends!

Apple puree is the easiest when I'm feeling super ill, just dip the spoon in and suck the sauce off.

I drink a LOT of cold water at the moment, crackers, toast with a little butter, plain rice, hard fruit lollies, icy-poles (the SPC no rubbish ones in Lemonlime) sliced apple, I use the Up and Go drinks for the car to put something in my stomach..... oh and HJ's Mushroom double swiss Drool.

    Hello,

I can't really recommend anything because I think it is very personal and changes. I just want to give you some reassurance. When I was pregnant with my son (who is now 22 months) I was very sick for the entire pregnancy. I was so worried because I couldn't even drink water and could only manage about half a glass of lemonade a day and some days a toasted sandwich or some steamed veg. BUT our DS was amazing.....he was 4040g and very healthy and our Ob. couldnt believe the size of my placenta....huge!!!! DS had been taking everything he needed and was very healthy. I recovered very quickly. As long as you manage to keep hydrated you will be fine and so will your baby. Eat what stays down...don't worry what it is. Your baby will take what it needs from you....our babies are amazing little people!!!
