I hear you! I work in a public building and we have confirmed swine flu cases too... I would love to take the next few months off work, but that is so not gonna happen

I agree with Muppity, have heard similar things - its mostly late stage breathing difficulties, and high temps that are a concern. When I was pg with DD I got a bad case of bronchitis and had high temps, but panadol worked to lower that and we were both OK. I guess with swine flu we just have to be extra careful, and go to the Dr as soon as we get any symptoms, and do all we can to keep our temps normal. I think the media have hyped it up a bit, it's terribly sad that a baby has died, but that is a one-off case so far, isn't it?

Hope you can enjoy your pregnancy without worrying too much... and hope you have a DH like mine who has offered to do all the grocery shopping til the worst is over!!
