So you're at ease, I was confirmed with the Swine Flu a couple of weeks ago - I guess it was kind of expected working at a hospital and all. But it was just like a normal flu and should watch your temperature, as some of the other ladies have said, it can become dangerous if bubs is too hot.

As scary as the Swine Flu is for pregnant mothers, it's almost exactly the same as the regular flu; it's just a bit overated ~ thousands die from regular flu. I guess precautions normally taken could be taken now, and if you're at all concerned, talk to your doctor etc etc.

Hope it stays away from you

    Hi again!!
I saw my ob this afternoon and he said the later your are in your pg the greater the risk because it directly affects your lungs and breathing ability and as the pressure natural increases through the pg it makes it all that much worse.
So its nice to know that we are just as clever as ob's!!!!!

Definitely stay away from people who are sick or may have swine flu. I had it, and although many people say it's just the 'normal flu', for some it's a lot more than that. I was extremely sick with it. Thank goodness I wasn't pg. Obviously you can't hybernate in your home for the remainder of your pregnancy, but just remember it is possible to get sicker than just the 'normal' flu.
