After a stint in hospital on a drip ended up being put on Zofran wafers and phenergan tablets at night...I think this is the 'end of the road' stuff...and your doc will need to prescribe
VEGEMITE!!!!! It worked so well for me. I actually carried a jar in my handbag!!! Seriously I would just dip my finger in it and the saltiness took that yucky feeling away. I still love vegemite and now Ashlyn loves it too!
Yep - Accupressure travel sickness bands and blackmores morning sickness tablets for me. Didn't totally remove it but certainly relieved it! Also, my evening sickness - if I ate a chocolate paddle pop it seriously made me feel better. Stupid I know, but it just did.
It is really hard but I found that if I could get up when I woke up rather than at 5am to my alarm, my sickness wasn't near as bad. Hope you're feeling on top of the world soon!
I've found eating little and often - even once or twice in bed in the middle of the night - is the best. And eating before you get out of bed, just a dry bikkie or or a weetbix. Protein is good (e.g a piece of cheese, an egg or a tin of tuna - weird as they sound for m/s!) and I like Milo too (I read something about the B vitamins being good - that might explain the Vegemite too!).
Hope those ideas help!
