Satya I'm so sorry hun I'm really hoping that your levels do go up at your next appointment. If not although its not nice to think about usually theres something very wrong with little bubs for it to happen, I know its not nice to think about but don't blame yourself at all and know we are all here for you and it sounds like your DH is there for you as well you'll both need each other and it's good to know hes there for you.

*biggest squishiest comfort hugs for you sweety*

Thank you all for your kind words. I told my mum what had happened this morning and within a couple of hours a beautiful arrangement of flowers arrived at the front door. They were so cheerful I couldn't help but smile.

I was so hopeful that this pregnancy could go better than the last one as it was with my new partner and I'd hoped that the problem lay with my ex.

At least I know I can conceive at my age (only took 9 months) it took 3 years when I was 30 & it never happened again with my ex (5 1/2 more years of unprotected sex - didn't bother with any treatment as just couldn't face it).

My partner already has a daughter so I knew there was no problem there and he's a lot younger than me which I've read is a bonus for older women trying to conceive so hopefully it will happen again soon & stick next time.
