i'm glad the CVS procedure went well, (i had five days of really bad cramps after my amnio).

all fingers and toes crossed for you wongbaby, i hope you have stuff to keep you busy, it's maddening, you know thinking about it will make the time drag, but it's SO HARD to think of anything else.

    best of luck sweetie

    Thanks Gigi

I am now madly searching on the Internet hoping for some positive stories. But the more I read, the more scared I am. It seems a very little chance for a high measurement turned out to be normal. I wish I had normal measurement abnormal blood work instead I feel so helpless. ~~~~~

while you're waiting, as someone else said in a previous post "google is not your friend". You're only going to find stuff that will worry you more. Step away from the computer searching wongbaby.

my "therapy" whilst waiting that VERY long two weeks, was to search out baby furniture, concentrating on that, helped me thru. Other people said, you are mad, why buy a cot, when you don't even know if your baby will survive, until after the test? but it's what I had to do, to get thru the two weeks. I HAD to do something positive. (i hope you find something to do, that will help you get thru the wait.).

Hi wongbaby, I am thinking of you and hoping that all goes well. I agree that it is best to stay away from Google. The reason why google scares us is that usually the people who have to post things on the internet have had something significant happen to them ie. the ones where the result hasn't been the way they would have liked. The others tend to get onto the next thing in life. So it totally skews your picture of the actual risk. Try to keep yourself busy so the time passes. thinking of you.

Oh Wongbaby, please stay hopeful. I have had 3 higher than normal NT results and I now have 3 normal girls. I did have to have an amnio each time and stressed out so much and the last time I also had FISH done. If you are going through a public hospital then it won't cost you anything at all. I also had to worry as I was an older mum (38, 40 and 42)

So I have 3 positive stories for you Chin up and hugs
