I have also had to go through the agonising 10 day waiting..... Mine were for DS and other Chromosomal deformities, those fisch results were clear and then 2 weeks later so were those results so I think you have an fantastic chance of them being clear too ;-) So happy for you!

Can not help getting worried again. So afraid that the full results may tell something different. Worried about the tests in the future~~~~~~~~~~~~

this is awesome news, i have been thinking of you, waiting for them results. if the fast results are clear for ds, then he is clear of ds, that wont change. once we were clear of ds they told us the other factors that may have caused the high risk to show up were a heart defect (low chance) or placenta problems, neither of which were an issue, i would take the cvs results as they are and say you are having a healthy baby boy. its time to enjoy this pregnancy, enough stress just enjoy. they will do plenty of us checks on him to make sure he is travelling ok. you are just another of us unlucky women who have been put through this stress for nothing. so happy for you, relax and enjoy your pregnancy hun

That's great news hun! Try and relax...it is very rare to hve something how up in the long test in the short test comes up clear.... You have beautiful healthy little baby boy growing there....try to tap into that and bond a little with him..talk to him try out some names...it might help to ease the fear and stress...thinking of you...

Thanks girls. I will try my best to relax.

I have already fall in deep love with the little fellow inside me, which I guess even my DHenvies. But this is how mothers mean to be! When I was young, I just knew my mum loves me for no reason, but I do not understand why. Now I know, and I can not believe I am now passing this love down!

i no im a little late to this thread and i want to start of saying what a relieif to not have that wait anymore.

but i also want to say that having a Down Syndrome baby is just as rewarding.
I was 19 when i had my little boy Hayden, i had the NT scan and his was only 2.3mm (so nothing to worry about we were told) we went on another 20 something weeks loving being pregnant and preparing for our first baby i had him just on the 39week mark and then 3 days later we were told he had Down syndrome but that he was a healthy baby boy.
he has just turnt 3 and we have just had our second and he is truly the most cheekiest and loving little boy ever. he gives the most cuddly cuddles. and yes he hasnt done anot of thing other 3 year olds have but that also meant he was my baby for alot longer and when he did achieve them it was AMAZING and sooo rewarding watching all your hard work pay off.

i just wanted to share my experiance with you so that others can see that yes its not ideal but in saying that he is healthy and we wouldnt change him and he is the BEST big brother to his little sister.

    Dear Hayden,

I am so touched by your story. You are such a young mum with endless courage and love. Every baby is unique and deserves love. God is fair. He gives you a special baby and makes you an outstanding mum. Both of you will be blessed with happiness.

The next hurdle lying before us is the 19 weeks' us which will focus on heart and structural defects. Fingers and toes crossed for good result! I am going to finish this thread and might open a new one in the second trimester board. Thank u so much for those read and replied with love and encouragement!
