    Hi Em,

I know I'm a bit late to reply, but I only just got back on here after a while....

I just wanted to say, I'm very sorry to hear of your experience. I have been through 2 miscarriages so know how horrible it can be when it seems everyone around you is pregnant or successful first or second time round, or when you just want it really bad.

Just to let you know, there is hope!! I am now successful third time round and have done nothing different. My Doctor said as many as 1 in 2 pregnancies could be ending in miscarriage and it really is a mystery. This time I went to a fertility clinic and they monitored me twice a week from 5 weeks which was very good for my sanity.

If I can be of any help please send me a message or comment back.

Wishing you well and plenty of baby dust,

    *hugs*

Also, I was told my one doctor to wait approx 6 months as something in my situation might change, I thought this was ridiculous and give I am now 30 there is no way I was waiting that long. After a visit to a specialist Gyne and a 3D ultrasound which confirmed nothing sinister was wrong with me, we tried again after a 2 month break and were successful. After the first m/c I waited 1 full cycle, then got the dates wrong second time, then we conceived again in the third month.

    Again, hope this helps,

    X

My pleasure Em Have you managed to find a good doctor to look after you next time round? It's so hard isn't it, not knowing what to do, what's next, when and who you should be seeing, I found it all quite confusing, but I've got a good doctor who is very knowledgable about pregnancy (in fact it's his specialist area) and very caring, it's made me feel so much better.

Also, just to let you know, I had 2 early ultrasounds this time, 1 at 6 weeks and 1 at 8, and both times this was very helpful and reassuring as the size of my baby matched my dates, they could hear the heartbeat which was strong. So when you get pregnant again (hopefully for you very soon) don't hesitate to ask for an early ultrasound referral if you think it would be helpful to you too.

Let us know if you have any luck, again, will cross my fingers for you

Having had 2 m/c they were more than willing to give me early ultrasounds to reassure me with each pg after a m/c.
DD2 was concieved after 1 AF after a m/c so fingers crossed for you too.
