we're hoping to find out gender at 20weeks (though if the Gremlin is as energetic and shy as yesterday at that scan i think we might struggle!)

Gremlin was decidedly shy and difficult - all we got were those piccies. i have a disc with other stuff - but it's spine, arms, legs, stuff like that - not a full body shot in site - bubba wouldn't stay still enough. no wonder i'm so queasy and losing so much weight - that kid is burning enough energy for both of us!

it's fairly unusual (i think) to see scans prior to 12 weeks, only because they're not routine scans unless you don't have a regular cycle and need a dating scan or you've had some bleeding. our second scan was done at 8w3d to confirm that all was ok as i'd stopped all ms for a couple of days (came back with a vengeance though) and because it was an AC pregnancy so the FS was prepared to do a second scan. the first was done at what we thought was 6w1d but measured 5w3d, and that difference worried us all a little in case bub wasn't strong enough. i think it was just resting early and waiting to make it's presence properly known a bit later!
