    What not to eat?

Ok i have been trying to research this but so far have read you shouldn't eat this or that, but then i have read that it is fine to eat those foods etc.

So what are big no no's to eat when pregnant? So far i have only seen that soft Cheese is a no no?

it comes down to your judgement/decision in a lot of cases.
i also avoid buffets and times when the food has beensitting for along time. freshly cooked and piping hot is the main thing and also avoiding known listeriosis risks like soft cheese, smokes fish and cold cuts, raw fish (sushi).
Personally I also avoid caffeine (tea and coffee) as much as possible also taking into acct the caffeine in soft drinks and chocolate (hard to avoid this totally LOL)

So basically stay away from premade foods and deli foods that have been sitting around...and cheese? this is just the cheese with mould on it? and dont have to much caffeine? Luckily i dont drink tea or coffee or coke so i should be fine there! and i can eat fish but not fish like shark which is high in magnesuim?

You can still have flake once a week. I used to have a couple of fish bites or a small piece of flake.

I'm not sure if these have been mentioned yet but you need to avoid:

    * Cold chook unless you cooked it yourself at home & refrigerated it soon after & eat it within 24 hours.
    * Any pre prepared salad with a creamy dressing - like coleslaw or potato salad.
    * Any salad in a restaurant or cafe or at a friends house if it has mayo on it or any creamy dressing that could contain raw egg.
    * Dips at a party if vegie pieces are being served with them or dips when they have been sitting around for a while.
    * Eggs that aren't cooked through - so no soft eggs.

In regard to caffeine remember that cola has it in it as do a lot of energy drinks so try to limit those as well.

Just remembered one other thing. I also avoided all salads & dressings from fast food places as I did not know if the veg had been washed thoroughly & I know that in some of them the dressings just sit on the benches. If I did have takeaway I had either a cheeseburger, fillet of fish or a chicken burger with cheese but nothing else. Most people don't go that extreme but I wasn't taking any chances after 3 losses.

Panadol is fine. You can even use Panadeine & Panadeine Forte if you need to during your pregnancy.
