I m craving salt too, at the moment the only things I can eat are vegemite toast, salt and vinegar chips and apples- that is just about all I have lived on for the last 3 days.
The thought of eating anything sweet mkes me want to spew, which is a good thing for now.
I am into my 8th week and not really craving anything.
I generally live by eating what I feel like at the time anyway, before pregnancy came along. So often I'll think 'i want salad' or 'i want bacon and eggs' or whatever it is at the time and i'll go have it.
oh i have found out i am exepting my 3rd! how we found out in the first place was my craving for chinese has to be fried rice and beef chow mein! doc doesnt know how far along yet but the cravings keep coming had to buy orange juice but i hate orange juice, any other juice i want as well! and theirs vanilla and chocoalte ice cream and has to be in a small cone with a flat bottom! and i love my vegies atm with gravy haha. oh from all the mentions of milk i wouldnt mind some too!
Another vote here for cold glasses of milk - can't get enough of the stuff! And potatoes - eating a lot more packet and hot chips than I would normally do, but the really strong one in first tri was mashed potato and cheese, yum!
Re sweet things, it had the opposite effect for me with ms. I would vomit fairly soon after having it (perhaps because it peaked and then dropped my bs too radically for me?) Anyway it didn't agree with me, and I still haven't really got my sweet tooth back.
