    what's with all these dreams?

Girls, It seems that over the last week I have been having up to 4 vivid dreams a night. Some are waking me up. They are not all good either. Last night one dream I had was that my car was being broken into out front of my house. The other dream that I had was horrific. It has made me feel uneasy all day. I dreamt that I went to the toilet and blood was pouring out of me and I couldn't get off cause there was so much. Told you it was disturbing. I am still shocked and very much uneasy. Why am I having all these dreams, and do they mean anything? I am a bit teary when I think about it actually.

I have booked my DH and I in for a massage tonight. I will get 30 minutes gentle reflexology as well as neck and shoulder massage. I am hoping that will help relax my mind so I can have a sleep without any dreams especially bad ones.

Has anyone else experienced these types of dreams?

It's very common to have scary dreams, some of the girls in my belly buddy group had very disturbing dreams, some of us had X rated dreams too hehe they are less scary than the others.

Easily said but try not to look into it too much i think it might be your sub conscious fears ie losing the baby.

Hope you have a scary dream free sleep tonight, the massage sounds great

    hey puppies,

Pregnancy dreams are quite vivid and down right scarey sometimes. I think almost everyone experiences them at one time or another.

last night i dreamt that Elvis was my father and he took me to Korn concert.

    Enough said!

I think the mental, physical and emotional adjustments of pregnancy are reflected in our dreams. I guess it's pretty common to feel vulnerable, unprepared for parenthood, a little bit trapped, excited, and worried about the effect that pregnancy, childbirth and parenting will have on your relationship, your body, and yourself. I know that during my pregnancy with Emily, I used to frequently dream that I was stuck in a car that was going SOOOOOOO slowly, and I couldn't speed it up or slow it down, and it was heading for a crash. I was trapped, and couldn't change the course of the car. Never dreamt like that before or after, but I think it was related to a feeling of "here we go again, wow this is going to be long, and I hate the last month of pregnancy, and the intense demands of the first few weeks are going to be tough, along with caring for two other little ones...." And I was excited about my pregnancy, and looking forward to having another little person to care for, but it's always a mixed thing, I think, and some of what we feel comes out in our dreams.
Anyways, hope the scary ones end soon! All the best!

I have heard that it is common to have very vivid dreams while you are pregnant, although I found the opposite. I used to have very memorable dreams almost every night, and now I don't have any at all! It's kind of lonely not having my crazy dreams with me.

The most common dreams that my friends had while they were pregnant were of abandonment or of their friends and family trying to kill them!!
