    Who else is 'showing' already???

    hi there,
This is my second pregnancy, but what a difference so far! I am a slender, athletic type, (174cms tall and 59kgs) but already at only 6 weeks I have a little noticable bump! And my chest????? well, lets just say, people will think I have had some work done!! I was small chested to start with (as long distance runners often are!!), yes, but now I have cleavage with the right kind of bra!

I have just come off an IVF stim Cycle and i have heard there is some suggestion that my early showing belly may be because of SOME bloating still from hormone injections and enlarged ovaries???? who knows??????

I am not worried, but just so surprised, because my first pregnancy I was still flat as anything through most of my 1st trimester.

I am still keeping up my fitness with about 60-80mins a day of something - running, swimming, yoga, walking, windtrainer bike, whatever....but it looks as though my body wants to have a belly quickly this time!!!!!

what about others?? Love to hear about your belly!!

OMG - me! I'm only 7 1/2 weeks (with my first!) and already my work pants aren't really fitting. I'm telling myself that it's all bloating though (which I'm prone to anyway) as I couldn't possibly be showing this early.

My bbs have also gotten bigger, but that's all good (I started out reasonably small too).

Wowweeeee! Congratulations! I'm so, so happy for you

Let me just say I totally know where you're coming from. By 8 weeks I bought a pair of maternity jeans... and a few of my friends had commented on my "huge rack" (being gay they could get away with that, without a slap from hubby hehe).

Probably it is still a bit of swelling from the IVF. When I was 8 weeks everyone was going on about how big I was, and I'd just reply with "It's ovary, not baby" LOL. I had 33 follies with 11 eggs collected, and when I had my 7 and 12 week scans there were still big lumpy ovaries there.

My FS said by the time my ovaries go down the baby would be front and centre, so I'd better buy bigger pants or get used to wearing skirts

My belly is kinda out there now. I'm 20 weeks and I feel about 30. It's huge! As mentioned above I've been getting "Gee you've put on weight" etc from since about 6-8 wks.

    Hi,

I am pg with my first. I was a size 10 and always had a flat stomach so I really noticed at about 6 weeks when my stomach popped out - no one else noticed. My pants were tighter straight away. My pg was natural - no fertility drugs. I am now almost 20 weeks and everyone says that I am huge. And yeah - my boobs got bigger immediately.

    Congrats and wishing you a H & H pg

thanks for the replies ladies - at least nice to know that I am not the only out there showing already. Lucky for me, I don't yet have to buy maternity clothes, as I spend most of my time in casual clothes and sports wear anyway - although my size 8 swimsuit yesterday was quite difficult to get on!

All I can do is not worry about it and keep up the exercise daily. I can understand what you are saying tish - with all those eggs collected - wow! I did not have that many, but do remember being bloated quite a bit (for me) before transfer.

in the end, I am so happy to be preggo again...It is both wonderful and very scary. but that is another story.

thanks ladies for your experiences, they always make me feel better!!

One of my girlfriends said with the 2nd pg, the body knows what its supposed to be doing and does it much quicker....makes sense to me.

I think I'm about 12 weeks along, (but the drs seem to think only 8?, we'll see after the scan), and my Man thinks my belly is comparable to when I was nearly 6 months last time!
I'm also a slender thing, and had reasonable boobs before my first (which got pretty big, but I liked them ), but they shrank to pretty much nothing after I finished breastfeeding (11 months). Now, my boobs are maybe a little bigger, but not even to what they were bc (before child), and I have a pot. I think it took ages (when I say ages, it seemed ages to me, but I couldn't put a date on it) to show last time. Although, just thinking about that, it may be because with bub1 I was vomitting ALL the time, and this one, I'm eating crap food, but not bringing it up again. But I'm not putting weight on anywhere else? That doesn't make sense. Oh, I dunno. But I'm showing.
