LilyDust - I think it probably borders on HG, but there are so many people that have it worse (especially you) that I cant bring myself to use the term, even though I am quite ill.
Oh sweetheart!!! dont you ever think that what you are feeling or suffering is any less because someone else had it 'differently' to you!!! Honestly, DD is 2.5 and Im only learning now how severe mine was and I'd hate to think you feel guilty saying you feel awful cause of me. Maybe get some IV fluids into you and you might not feel so nauseous and the headaches might ease off?? hun, I hope it goes away soon xxx

If you haven't been already perhaps try some hydralyte or gastrolyte for rehydration. My Dr recommended the hydralyte ice blocks as they are much less likely to come back up than the liquid or water.

Re the IV fluids, my GP said that they can easily do that at the Drs office (no hospital admission) so perhaps consider that to help you rehydrate a bit.

Sagres & Bloom, I'll try the Hydralite this morning. If that doesnt work I'll go in for some IVs tomorrow.

Lily -You are so kind. Thanks for letting me vent. I just didnt want to cause offense to those (including yourself) who have suffered so much worse and I would never want to make light of the awful disease that is HG, especially the severe form. I do realise Im able to vent as I feel so awful and sick and thanks for sharing with me that its ok to do so.

I was pretty sick with DD3 & Zofran did nothing for me, I was admitted the hospital & given I.V fluids & anti nausea medication through the drip.
After that the Zofran actually worked & it was much more manageable.
My Ob said sometimes you need to break the cycle & get yourself rehydrated to get the medication to work.
