3D scans in Melbourne.

I'm pregnant with my 4th baby and have never had a 3D scan done before. I was thinking it is something I would like to get later on in this pregnancy.
Where in Melbourne can I go to get one? Do I need a drs refferal? How much are they?

I don't know about in Melbourne but with DD we had one done in Ballarat at 26 weeks. We needed a referral from our Ob and it costs us about $190 (we got a DVD as well as pic's) and because it is not a standard scan you cannot claim back from medicare. I'd find out from the U/S place where you will have your 12 & 20 week scans at if they do the 3D/4D scans as well.

I am pretty sure the Mercy in Heilderberg does them. Not sure of cost and such though

i went to 4d bonding in malvern and had the gender determination scan at 19 weeks, was about 140 no referal
