Sounds tempting. Average price here is $75 for an hour, but I did find one place offering a special of 2 hour long massages for $125. I might have to redo my budget lol.

ZF - Yes I would definitely go somewhere that specialises in pregnancy massage.

Lysndan - The place I am looking at going run baby massage etc too, and she is a midwife. I am pretty sure they would know what to use but I'll check anyway.

    Thanks everyone for replying

Yep, do it! It was great - and think of it as a treat for bubs, too! My massage included belly rubs (all by a qualified person!) and although initially it felt odd, I think baby did enjoy it!

I am just dreaming of my feet, legs, back and neck lol. I don't like being massaged anywhere else..

I've had one last preg and one this preg and honestly, not worth it IMO. They tread fairly lightly and I prefer a harder massage.

Now this is what I was worried about. I like hard massages too. of course I recognise the need to go lighter around the tummy or even lower back but on my legs and neck I want to feel it.. But then a relaxation massage, rather than a deep tissue might be just as good because my body feels so tense. I am waiting on a call back so I'll ask the masseuse what she thinks. I could just go for half and hour which is $45.

If you go to a 'good' place they will go harder if you request.
I have several during my last pg and i could choose how deep they went.
Someone that is properly certified will know the 'trigger' point areas to avoid with deep tissue massage.

My sister is a myotherapist and did my pg massage when i was pg with DD1 and she went really deep from 12 weeks on...

TBH i prefered the ones with DD2 as i was sore and tired and although it was lighter i felt it had more effect
