Dh thinks my crowning moment was ordering 70 wedding invites, because we had 70 people coming. Sounds logical doesn't it??? Think about it.

Ringing dh in tears on Fri because he wanted me to organise his car insurance but hadn't written the details down for me.. umm, that was cause they were right there, in front of me, on the rego papers...

I can't say it loud enough ladies: FISH OILS!!!!!!!!

Baby brain is NOT inevitable and it is avoidable/reversible - your baby is using up all the DHA fatty acids in you to build its brain up leaving you with precious little for your brain. You need pretty big doses of it in pregnancy (there are DHA-only formulations available but most are EPA/DHA combined) but it DOES work! I wouldn't have managed a fulltime uni schedule plus 3 days a week mentally exhausting job without it - get onto it NOW!

Please note: get a concentrated formula from a health shop : '1000mg' only tells you how much total oil is in the capsule NOT how much DHA is in there. the EPA part is anti-inflammatory so will help with aches and pains - bonus!

Veggos: Flaxseed oil had buggerall DHA unfortunately but there is something called "Udo's oil" which is flax fortified with extra DHA

May be I do need some of that...

I picked up my u/s films this morning, popped them on top of the car, strapped ds in.... and drove off, totally forgetting the films. It took me 20 minutes to realise what I'd done. Luckily some nice person had handed them in for me
