Yeh i think its a really nice idea. We're having ours this weekend.. but its more like a get together celebrating our baby and last few weeks before our family becomes 3. We've said its up to the guest if they want to give gifts.. of course we'll welcome the gifts, but will just be nice to have everyone together.
