I've resorted to online shopping, being now a 32 HH. It is absolutely impossible to get anything at a regular shop, and I don't want to pay $200 at a specialty shop. I've been buying lately at Breakout Bras - they carry some really nice regular, maternity, and nursing bras, in a WIDE range of sizes, at decent prices. ($40-90 or so). They are a North American company, and they ship free to North America, so I don't know what the shipping would be to Aus, but it might be worth a look anyways. They also give good directions on how to measure yourself, and find the right size, and they provide online help as well - e-mail them any questions.
Otherwise, I've heard that Figleaves is a good site....? UK, I think?
Hope you find something great soon! There are enough issues in pregnancy without having to worry about your boobs popping out, or flopping all over.
blondedoctor - next time you get down to Adelaide - try Abel Zera (also online) North East Rd Campbellltown - I went in for mat bra fitting there and the lady was really helpful - I did have to go back a couple times on the one day but they were really helpful about when the fitting lady (can't remember her name) was going to be there - she wasn't there the first time I dropped in. Ended up with Bravado (?sp) and some Hot milk bras - have preferred the Bravado for a bit more support - I have gone from a 14D to a 16E already (only 10 weeks now).
Thanks Leckert - I'll definitely try them. I can't believe how many women have the same trouble buying bras - I mean why don't the stores pay attention? I told my friend tonight on the phone that I have gone from a 14D to a 16F and she nearly peeed herself laughing. Ah well, I spose we have to laugh or else we'd go crazy
