We have flannelette and muslin.. probably about 6 of each is what we have. We bought most of them from big W in packs of 3 and they were really cheap. Just make sure you get big ones (at least 1m by 1m ). We were also given about 6 or so others but they were only 80cm and imo they were too small and she grew out of them very soon. We also have some fleecy blankets which we use in the pram, and some of those blanets (the type they use in the hospital) for her bed at night.

oh ETA, we got muslin because it was still really hot when she was born. If she was born, say, now, i would have gotten more flannel ones.
