    Boo hoo...i want some sleep...

For the last few nights ive slept only a few hours in total each night.

I have taken to needing water ALL night long so filled up a 750ml bottle and by morning its all gone....the down side is im up every 60-90 minutes peeing

Is peeing so much a good thing? LOL

I have tried to stop taking the water to bed but i wake up hardly able to breath cos my throat is so dry and sore.

The loo is looking like a great bed right now

Poor thing! Do you have ducted heating at all?

That may be drying you out a bit too....

I suppose its better than spewing in the toilet all the time..

    Lol at the loo-bed!

Me too, Kimbaz. I've been keeping a bottle of water by my bed and in the bathroom for swigging during the night. I've been waking up unable to breathe because my mouth is so dry. My sinuses are also very inflamed. So not much sleep at my place either. Not to mention the reflux!

Do you have people telling you very jovially that it's your body getting you used to the sleep deprivation that's to come? I feel like screaming at them!!
I'm going to try drinking more water during the day to see if it helps. I'll let you know if it works! And if you find a solution, let me know!

Our ducted heating does the same thing to my throat so I have decided to turn the bloody thing off over night and rug up instead! When my DH gets up for work at 6.30am though he turns it on again and within 20 minutes i just can't stand it (the dryness) so I get up too Sometimes I find it helps to put damp things to dry over the ducts in our bedroom.... like a drying rack full of washing. That seems to moisten the air a bit... but i worry about the kids' throats getting too dry which is another reason we don't leave it on over night. If your respiratory tract gets too dry it makes it more agreeable for germs... they prefer it that way... which is another reason we get colds over winter.

Oh i so know how you feel, i have to turn the heating off at night especially because the vent is so close to our bed.
My solution is drink alot, and i mean alot during the day and still take a sml bottle to bed and sip it when your mouth/throat is dry, this is what i did and it has helped heaps. i no longer have to get up during the night at all and if i do its usually around midnight so i still get lots of sleep.

I hope it gets better, nothing worse than being sleep deprived, espeacially during pregnancy.

I to am suffering from the excess drinking and peeing lol. Also have the sinus problem and lack of sleep grrrrrr. I don't have heating so can't blame that but find that i'm drinking over 750ml during the night. Hope it eases off for everyone and me
