    bounty bag

just wondering if you only get the bounty bags for first pregnancies? there was a really nice baby diary in my DDs one that i still use and was hoping to get another one. suppose i could just go buy one.. he he

(Update: well got my bounty bag at booking in appointment yesterday and yes it was full of pamphlets. there was a newborn nappy but the rest was just nothing really. however, the midwife/hospital gave me the diary YAY!!!! so i got it after all. but i agree the bounty bags arent what they used to be)

I don't even know where you can get one these days. The hospitals don't give them out anymore so I haven't been given one this time round.

You should get bounty bags with ever pregnnacy. But contents change regularly and also hospital to hospital.

The have Bounty bags in NZ too, though the one I got over 5 yrs ago was a bit rubbish. Friends who have had babies in the last few years got really nice blankets!!!!
It would be nice if I got a bounty bag again, especially if it had more in it than the 6mth old womens weekly and cleaning sample sachets and single serve formula sample I got last time....

Any idea how to get one??? I`ll be having baby at Mercy in Jan 09.

My last three pg`s I recieved my bounty bag on the very first visit to check into the hospital,Westmead NSW,and we did get a block of choccy and personel diary, but not in the last one in 2007.I was suprised to get another the day after having bub,had different stuff to the first one lots os vouchers, lotions, nappy sand, the first one was mainly parenting books, with some Reni tabs and a couple of nappies, but I think you can get these from any Target store.

When I had DD1 I'm sure I got a small pack of Huggies New Born nappies. By the time I had DD2 it went down to only 2 nappies.
DD1's also had a dummy & heaps of other free samples.
DD2 didn't have nearly as much. DS's had even less.
3 kids, 3 bags for each kid & never a chocky though!

I got a bounty bag last week at my first midwife visit. No chocolate but I did get a sample of some stretchmark cream great! Pretty much filled with flyers and coupons. Oh and a parenting magazine. The contents are not worth while or worth searching where to get one from imo...
