I can certainly understand the reluctance to believe - especially if you have been wanting a little girl for a while now

FWIW - I didn't get a definite answer when pregnant with Miss M - the scanning people would just say, well, I think it is, but don't buy pink blah blah blah.... until my 36 week appointment with my OB and she told me it was definitely a girl - then I still didn't believe (because I wanted a girl sooo much) until she was born and I quizzed everyone as to what she was.. LOL

You're halfway through now - so try not to stress over it
