My chiro explained a twisted pelvis (I'm trying to remember his exact words now ....) as one side of your pelvis rotating differently to the other side (???). To give you an example, he said if you wear a skirt and you find the zip and the back often twists around, it is because your hips are working unevenly. I do notice that after a visit to the chiro, my skirts do tend to sit better for a week or so. He doesnt actually twist it back into alignment though. I lie on my side and he brings one leg up over my body (kind of like in the Recovery Position) and then he presses the hip back into alignment then repeats it on the other side. I feel a crunch and that is all.
