On the cycle we conceived, I o'd on day 18. Just going by my chart, we DTD 3 days before that and one day after that. We have a little girl!

This one we DD the day before ovulation...so I expect a boy again...we will see. I find out Jan 9!

With the first 2 I had no idea what I was doing with regards to timing etc but #3 we tried specifiaclly for a boy and DTD when EWCM was present and used a couple of other things reccommended in the book How to chose the sex of your baby. I didn't know anything about charting even then so it was a bit hit and miss really!

    hi

all of mine have followed the rule, after O then a boy and before 0 a girl.
The twins obviously been a boy and a girl, didn't follow the rule.
My last 2 daughters were day 10/11 of a 28 day cycle, this pregnancy was day 9 of a 28 day cycle but don't know what bubs is until Feb........

I'm interested in this issue too- as to how much faith I can actually put in these theories!!
Anyway, with my one and only (boy), we DTD on day 15 of my cycle (my previous cycle was 31 days), when EWCM had only just appeared. I still had lots of EWCM 2 days later (day 17). Temperature peaked on the morning of Day 19, so I figure that I ovulated day 18.....
I felt very strongly I was having a boy from day dot.
Perhaps if we had DTD a couple of days earlier, it may have been a girl- who knows? We will test the theory next time around!!
I have also been looking into lunar conception of late and how the moon affects the cycles, fertility and gender at conception. Once again- the theories are theories even if they do work- but I'm still willing to test them out!!

I've been charting my cycle forever and I'm pretty confident about when I O.

DD wasn't planned, but I was charting when we conceived her (through being a bit *ahem* lax..about the rules!) The month she was conceived we BD'd just at the end of my period on CD 6, which would normally have been safe for us....but that cycle I ovulated unusually early on CD10 and we got DD .

DS was planned and we wanted to time it for a boy. I ovulated on CD17 (which is normal for me) and we BD'd that day only - not before, and not after - and got our boy.

Gender swaying is just that - it "tips" the odds in your favour, but like anything there are no guarantees.
