I was at my nephew's 1st birthday on Sunday and yesterday I found out that one of the babies had the German Measles (they didn't know yet). I was very worried as I am 5 weeks pregnant and contacted my ob. They got back to me saying that from my blood results I am very immune. I've decided not to see my nephew for 2 weeks as this is the incubation period. He was playing with the other baby and my brother had been holding the baby. I'm not sure whether i should avoid any pregnant woman I know? Is that being over the top? I'm also still worried, so would like to know any women who have come in contact with it and then been ok.
