One of my closest girlfriends has just announced her pregnancyShe already has 2 kids, and she doesn't feel there's any point to having a baby shower. Just this morning I was thinking about throwing her a surprise blessingway type thing, except we'd all go away for a night or two instead of just being a day.
The questions are:
At what point does pregnancy become more uncomfortable than anything? I don't want her to be uncomfortable the whole time she's there, so I'm trying to figure out when I should plan it for.
Do you think it would be a good idea? Most of the other girls all have kids as well, so I thought they might enjoy getting away and just being able to focus on her, even if it's only for 1 night.
Would YOU go if you were invited to it?
TIA ladies![]()

She reckons SPD will hit her fairly early, it generally hits her around 20 weeks but she says she weighs the most she ever has. Hers is uncomfortable but not unworkable, knowing her she'd say she'd rather be uncomfortable on holiday than uncomfortable at home! And they don't mind leaving the kids for a night, all the dads are really good and will probably get together at one of their own houses and have a sleepover for the kids.
