I think it's hard for men to get their heads around the reality of the baby. For us it's easy, we can feel them move all the time and we have a natural instinct which makes us prepare for them etc. I suppose all men are different in how they handle pregnancy, and I can see why your DH finds it really weird! It is such an amazing thing that seems so unreal.

My DH tends to be a bit detached from the bub because he doesn't feel what I do. The other night though he felt some really big movements (I was the one who was weirded out and I made him feel them too LOL) and he actually started getting really excited and saying that he can't wait to meet her. He hasn't really spoken like that before, so I think that feeling actual knees and feet helped him see that she is real

The most important thing is that your DH is a great father to your children once they do get here, your DH definitely sounds like he is
