My DD is just recovering from her first bout of gastro and has kindly decided to share it with me. I think it should be ok, but just wanted to check if those rehydration drinks are ok during pg, the ones you get over the counter at the chemist with glucose and stuff in them? Thanks!
From what I was told when I had it it's better if you don't - the sugar isn't good for gastro and can actually make the diarrhea worse. Stick to water, and gastrolyte which you can get from the chemist - works a treat.
