I know DD - I've edited my post so it makes more sense! I'm glad it was over quickly and wasn't painful at least. And that the party goes well on the weekend and keeps you busy.

We'll wait with ya! But let's keep busy in the meantime so the time passes really fast!!

That meditation (relaxation) sounded great... keep that up over the next 10 days - it's sure to help!

My tummy is a bit tender today and every time I tossed and turned last night, I didn't get any after discomfort with the Amnio, but I think it is because with the CVS they (don't look if you are sensitive to this as I am) kind of push the needle in and out, like liposuction to get the sample... yuck! I did not look but I did feel it and looked at DH and he looked as though he was going to faint! so I quickly redirected my focus to Matilda, anyway I think that is why it is a bit tender.

I was a bit worried this time about the very small chance of miscarriage but no bleeding or real pain so I am relaxing a bit about it now.

Now to keep busy and start organising food etc for this BBQ.

Jols - Thats ok, the title gives the impression of a morning sickness winge (which is kind of how it started) and unfortunatly turned a whole lot worse .

    Thankyou everyone, again .

I'll be thinking of you all on the 6th. It was great that DH & DD could be there with you.
Try and keep yourself busy between now and then. Easier said than done I know.

Half way through this wait, I am coping with it better than I thought I would, although I am still hoping the results may come through a few days early, wishful thinking.
I really do not know what to expect, is it the same as DD's chromosome abnormalitie, down syndrome, something else, nothing...? Maybe it is playing on my head a bit more than I thought but I have not had any tears for a few days, I am trying not to worry about something that is our of my control.
I am a little excitied about finding out the babies gender, it is nice to have a positive to look forward to regardless of the other results.

Just to add to it all DD is getting her first tooth! So she has kept me busy yesterday and today with her crying and need for cuddles, poor little thing.

Thankyou Teagz, yeah I haven't posted in our belly buddies for a while.
I have been reading but I didn't want to worry everyone approaching their NT scans with with what could go wrong... I am happy to see that everyone elses results were clear though .

You should come back, love. It'd be nice to be able to give you support. Besides you are still due around the time the rest of us are!
I do understand where you are coming from though and what it's like to not want to shatter other peoples pregnancy innocence.

Hun, you know you are missed in our BB group, but I understand too. Please know we are here for you, and would love to share the journey with you, no matter how rough. Each of us go through pregnancy with our own concerns, and issues, but at the end of the day we are all striving to the same goal, a baby in our arms. But of and when you are ready, ok. And even you you find it hard to be in the BB group, we are still here. xo
