Nope, no finding out here. We love a surprise!!! And it was good motivation for me to keep pushing, the only thing actually......when I'd been pushing for over three hours and wanted to give up I suddenly thought "but soon I'll know if my baby is a boy or girl!" and that kept me going
Also, I don't trust ultrasound technology enough . I know way too many people who have been told the wrong sex, only to find out at the birth (and have a midwife friend who sees it happen all the time). It's probably no biggie to most, but why bother finding out if it's wrong anyway? So yeah, even if I did find out, I wouldn't really prepare because I'd be wondering all the time if they had been right or not.
Each to their own, obviously, but it really gets up my nose when people say "oh, but you HAVE to find out!!!" or "you know already, you just don't want to say", like people don't believe it's possible to go through your whole pg without knowing the sex. Um, hello, you will find out eventually!!! One day the baby will be born and then you'll know for sure! Like I said, I don't give two hoots what someone else does, I can definitely see why you would want to find out, but it bugs me when people really push you to do it.
