We found out with all 3 of ours. I am a bit of a control freak and love being organised. I also know that once I had a little boy or girl, I wouldn't dress them in any nuetral clothes that I might have bought before they were born so I was better off just finding out and buying gender specific stuff. I also got to be the one to tell everyone in person whether we were having a boy or girl - I feel like I would have missed out a bit if DH had done it over the phone after the baby was born.

. I know way too many people who have been told the wrong sex, only to find out at the birth (and have a midwife friend who sees it happen all the time). It's probably no biggie to most, but why bother finding out if it's wrong anyway? So yeah, even if I did find out, I wouldn't really prepare because I'd be wondering all the time if they had been right or not.

. DH was the one to announce the sex (my eyes were closed, with relief he was out LOL) and it was so wonderful, he said "Sez, we've got a beautiful little boy!!!" and then he cried on my shoulder, and me on his while we looked at our tiny baby on my tummy. Makes me very nostalgic thinking about it.
