    Cesar Salad?

Is it ok to have this? Just worried about the dressing. I'm craving it and want to make a chicken one for dinner tonight but wasn't quite sure.

If you are home making you should be ok. Just double check the dressing has no egg in it (it's usually raw in mayonnaise) & that it's within date if it's been in the fridge for a while. Are you planning on having hot chicken with it? Cold chicken is one place that listeria bugs like to hide.

Uh oh. I've been eating cold chicken. Well, cooked then in the fridge. Hmmm... I stayed away from ham etc but for some reason thought chicken was ok. Oh dear.

Looks like the chicken might be going in the dog's bowl.

    (lucky dog! )

don't stress to much. do what you can to limit the risks, but if you haven't been perfect in the past don't worry (if you were going to get sick from it then you probably would have already). when it comes to cold meet - if it has been prepared and stored at home under sterile conditions it should be fine.

You can have mayonnaise, tartar sauce etc if its commercially produced - ie your bottle of Kraft mayo from Coles - and so long as you keep it in the fridge. Its the yummy home made mayo that's the problem because it has raw eggs in it, but none of the preservatives and artifical stuff that they put in the Kraft stuff that makes that one safe, but your homemade mayo unsafe.
